Joe is the President of Duke City Commercial. Having worked for 20 years as an Asset Manager for national investor, Gemini Rosemont Commercial Real Estate, he was responsible for the asset management of almost 6 million square feet of commercial properties located in 46 cities and 14 states. His responsibilities included maximizing investor value and returns, lease analyses and negotiation, management of leasing brokers, accounting, property management and other personnel, disposition of assigned properties, loan compliance, legal compliance, budgeting and preparation of business plans. He has been involved in the closing of more than $400 million in commercial real estate transactions, and the creation of two commercial real estate companies in two different states. Joe has been a licensed real estate broker in New Mexico since 1994 and is a licensed real estate instructor in New Mexico. He has earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation for his demonstrated experience and knowledge of commercial real estate and was also formerly a licensed Investment Advisor, where he held various securities licenses including the Series 7, 63, 65, and 31.
Trish is the Vice President (and an owner) of Duke City Commercial. Having brokered the sale of real estate, as well as having the experience of owning real estate investments and several small businesses in the past, her background in real estate, investments and sales provides a strong basis for understanding the needs of commercial real estate customers and clients. In addition to overseeing the operations of the office, Trish is a licensed real estate broker in New Mexico, specializing leasing, and is a member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women).
Melanie is the Vice President of Property Management for Duke City Commercial. Ms. Mora has been involved in the management of some of the largest properties in the State of New Mexico including First Plaza Galeria (300,000sf+), Pinetree Corporate Center (200,000sf+), Singer Office Properties (170,000sf+), GVI Corporate Center (70,000sf+), and One Sycamore Plaza (62,000sf+). She previously managed properties on behalf of national real estate investor, Gemini Rosemont Commercial Real Estate for 15 years, and has also managed multi-family properties for other owners. Ms. Mora is a licensed real estate broker in New Mexico, is a member of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) and has received the CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) and NALP (National Apartment Leasing Professional) designations.
Richard has over 30 years of accounting experience and oversees all aspects of accounting including AP, AR, Reporting and Supervising the Accounting team members. He has a Bachelor's degree in Management from New Mexico State University and a Bachelor's degree from University of Texas-Dallas in Accounting.
Gilbert oversees the Maintenance Technician team and keeps the properties running smoothly.
